We’re going for a very stark white which we can balance with pops of colour and the use of other textiles such as wood and glass. Hopefully it doesn’t look sterile once we’ve brought in some furniture and floor coverings too.

We’re using Electrolux appliances throughout, we installed them in out last home and they were great to use.

Throughout the home we’re trying to keep to a Scandi look, we’re also trying to mix some black elements into it with door handles, taps, light switch and sinks. Most of our kitchen accessories are matt black to help maintain this look throughout.
Rawson have just started using Hafele for their kitchen accessories, they make some great kitchen storage options which we’re also hoping to incorporate into our kitchen and pantry.
Our kitchen will be handleless with the exception of our pantry doors and pull out pantry storage, hopefully we’ll also be able to use shark nose finger pull for all the under bench cabinets.

Again we’re carrying the scandal look throughout our bathrooms, very simple whites and blacks and hoping to bring some texture in with our tile choices.
In our Ensuite and Bathroom we’re sticking to chrome bathroom accessories and in the Powder Room downstairs we’re going to use Matt Black bathroom accessories. We’re sticking with the Caroma range of items.

We ended up really liking what they’d done in the Chifley 37 display home in Thornton. So chose to go with that, one of the selections we didn’t anticipate being so difficult though was the stain colour. None of the match very well with our flooring which meant they would have looked poorly matched if we’d chosen one of them.
We decided we’d need to go for a colour drastically different from our flooring, so it was going to be either really light or really dark which meant black. In the end we went for a black stain in a satin finish rather than a polished look.
